Taylor Swift Accepts Woman Of The Decade Award Wearing Jewelry By This Lebanese Designer

We are never ever ever getting over Taylor Swift winning Billboard’s first ever ‘Woman of the Decade’ award at the Women in Music event that took place in LA last week. The 10 time Grammy winner chose a stunning Oscar de la Renta jumpsuit, Sergio Rossi shoes and earrings by Lebanese-Brazilian designer Ana Khouri to complete her look for Billboard’s event. Swift was seen wearing Ana Khouri’s Diamond Christy and Lily earrings as she accepted the award presented to her by British actress Jameela Jamil.

In her fifteen minute long speech, Taylor addressed a variety of issues in the music industry, including double standards and her ongoing feud with Scooter Braun over the rights to her music.

“We need to keep advocating for women in the recording studios, behind the mixing board, in A&R meetings, because rather than fighting to be taken seriously in their fields, these women are still struggling to even have a chance to be in the room,” she said.

After consistently topping the charts for the past decade, the musician concluded her speech by thanking her fans for making the last 10 years truly unforgettable.

“Thank you for a magnificent, happy-free, confused, sometimes lonely but mostly golden decade. I’m honored to be here tonight. I feel very lucky to be with you, thank you so much.”
