Uniqlo Unveils Partnership With The Louvre Museum In Paris

Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo announced four-year partnership with Musée du Louvre in Paris, France.

The new collaboration aims to raise awareness on the importance of art and the Musée’s beautiful paintings.

The partnership programs include “Free Saturday Nights” and “The Mini-Discovery Tour.”

Every first Saturday of the month, visitors are invited to explore to museum and its artwork for free. This program has been put on-hold due to the ongoing pandemic.

The new release will include a series of t-shirts and hoodies, inspired by the numerous artworks present at the museum, featuring women as the main theme.

“I was inspired to discover that the world’s most famous work of art, the ‘Mona Lisa,’ is known at the Louvre simply as Painting No.779 - this is my theme for the Art and Logic collection,” said Peter Saville, English graphic designer, on the brand’s official website.

The collection will be available for purchase on February 4.
