The gown, designed by Oscar-winning costume designer Helen Rose, featuring a high neckline, elegant lace sleeves, and a voluminous skirt, is a timeless design that has still inspired brides for almost 7 decades. The dress was crafted from delicate, 125-year-old rose point Brussels lace and a silk faille skirt and was paired with a beaded floral Juliet cap and a dramatic 90-yard veil.

The gown is currently on display at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco as part of a special exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the wedding of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III, offering visitors a rare opportunity to admire one of the most iconic bridal creations in royal history.

Through a rich collection of photographs, films, audio archives, jewellery, couture creations, wedding gifts, and never-before-seen documents, visitors are transported back to the eight unforgettable days that captivated the world and gave rise to the ultimate royal fairytale.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until 25 September 2026.
