Watch Out For Dubai Watch Week That Starts Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Dubai Watch Week returns for its fourth edition this, with a string of luxury watchmakers ready to roll out some of their finest collections. From horology workshops led by experts to the event’s annual Watch Photo Awards, the event promises to be rife with creativity. Taking place at Dubai International Financial Center, the event will bring together industry heavyweights such as Jean-Claude Biver, Non-Executive President of the LVMH Watch Division, and Aline Sylla-Walbaum, Global Managing Director Luxury, Christie’s, who will share their insight into the art of watchmaking with the audiences.

For the first time ever, Chopard has teamed up with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to reveal its latest watch collection in a private exhibition during the event. The collection, which launched on 1 October 2019, will transform the 485-square-meter space into an immersive journey through the designs. Among the series of firsts is ‘The Rolex Experience’, an exhibition dedicated to exploring the brand’s iconic pieces, including  the Oyster Perpetual Submariner. The series of panels and interactive displays will spotlight how the Submariner became the brand’s piece de resistance.

There’s more in store with the creative hub by IWC, retail  WatchBox Studios, the world’s largest luxury watch video network and many more curated watch exhibitions. With Bulgari’s Creative Director revealing the craftsmanship involved in Swiss watchmaking and jewelry creation on 21 November and Vacheron Constantin unveiling a Middle East-exclusive time piece collection on the 22 November, Dubai Watch Week is an event to watch out for.
