In celebration of Porsche’s Boxster 25th anniversary, the German car brand is releasing a limited-edition model under the name Boxster 25 Year.
The model pays homage to an iconic car and its creation: “A quarter-century ago, at an economically challenging time, Porsche launched a groundbreaking model that would not only prove to be successful, but become one of the world’s purest, best-handling sports cars,” as mentioned on the brand’s official Instagram page.
The new 2021 model is based on the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 model and is also inspired by the first Boxster concept revealed in 1993, at the Detroit Auto Show.
With around 357,000 units produced so far, the car became known as the model that saved the company from an economic crisis.
The special edition model features Porsche’s Bordeaux red leather interior enhanced by Boxster 25 lettering throughout the vehicle, adding a unique touch to a super luxurious car.
Limited to only 1,250 units, the Boxster 25 offers an unrivalled driving experience.
