The First Female Saudi Racer Is Taking Part In Diriyah E Prix This Month

All eyes have been on Saudi Arabia for the giant leaps that the Kingdom has taken giant leaps to position itself as a coveted destination filled with talent in the region and beyond. Now, its first female racecar driver, Reema Juffali, has hearts racing, as she gears up to take place in the Riyadh Street Circuit this month.

With driving licenses having been issued to women earlier this year, Reema is a legend in the making at just 27 years of age. Also participating in the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, Reema is currently getting ready to take part in the Diriyah E Prix, the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series, which will take place at a UNESCO World Heritage site in the outskirts of Riyadh from the 21-23 November.

Making her mark in what has been known to be a male-led sport, Reema’s journey has been anything but easy. “The greatest risk is not taking one,” she told her fan-following in an Instagram post.
