I’m passionate about creating spaces where people can slow down, take a break from the everyday rush, and feel truly taken care of. Ever since I was young, I’ve been driven by creativity and a sense of purpose, and this led me to start Sakura Beauty Spa. My goal was simple – to offer people a place to unwind and feel at ease.
Over time, I’ve been so grateful to see the impact it has on clients. I also have many hobbies that keep me exploring new things, and recently, I decided to follow one of my lifelong dreams – studying culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu. It’s been a refreshing experience, allowing me to connect with another side of my creativity.
Being an Emirati has given me a strong sense of balance – holding on to what matters to us while staying open to change and new ideas. Growing up in a country that embraces both tradition and progress has taught me to be adaptable and forward-thinking, all while respecting my roots.
The UAE has shown me that anything is possible, and seeing Emirati women excel in so many areas has been a big source of encouragement for me. This environment has truly shaped my journey.
The UAE has always been a place that empowers women, and I’ve benefited from that every step of the way. Seeing so many strong Emirati women in leadership roles gave me the courage to follow my own path. The country’s support has not only helped me build my business but also taught me so much about leadership, especially as I’ve worked with a diverse team of women who bring their own strengths and perspectives. I feel incredibly grateful for this support.
I believe in the power of guidance and am always happy to support young Emirati women, helping them see their potential and pursue their dreams with confidence. I try to share what I’ve learned along the way, hoping it might help others find their path.
Creating an environment that values growth and inclusivity is important to me, too. My hope is that everyone feels encouraged to grow and contribute in ways that are meaningful to them.
The power of delegation. From the start, I had a clear structure, but initially felt the need to handle everything myself. Over time, I learned that trusting the right team is essential for growth. Delegating has allowed the business to grow faster and created an environment where everyone, including myself, can develop our strengths. This realisation has transformed my approach to leadership and shown me how empowering others leads to success for all.
Right now, I’m excited to explore my passion for culinary arts. Studying at Le Cordon Bleu has been an eye-opener, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it leads.
It’s been a refreshing change and has sparked new ideas that keep me inspired. I’m taking it one step at a time and enjoying
the journey.
I hope to represent Emirati culture in a way that feels warm, genuine, and welcoming. Through my work, I want to share the values of our culture – kindness, openness, and respect for beauty and tradition. My goal is to give people a small glimpse of what makes the UAE special, in a way that feels authentic and relatable.
