Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Shamseh bint Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, daughter of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, ruler of Fujairah, this iteration is themed under ‘Harmony’.

Platform 09 offers free entry and the opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together and celebrate the diverse and talented creative community of Arab women across the country. At the core of the event is the Forum, which will feature engaging artists and performers who will transform the space into an immersive, experiential theater.

Among the headline acts is one by Amal Murad, the first Emirati parkour trainer, who is redefining the role of women in athletics. Also part of the lineup is Shayma Al Mughairy, the first Emirati sand artist, Jordanian artist Maccadi Nahhas and Emirati poet and writer Eman Al Hashimi. Is there anything that women can’t do?
