Grapes and Dates is a gallery of Italian-Emirati art fusion, with abstract Arabic calligraphy painted across its walls, while the furniture in the space emanates the 1950s’ retro charm of cafes in Italy. The vibrant artworks in the space were created by Italian artist Carla Asquini, while Emirati artist Dhi’a Allam created the striking calligraphy.

The snack bar offers a range of wholesome and healthy snack options, ranging from Açaí bowls to power toasts to refreshing smoothies. Additionally, the store is eco-friendly, with the ceiling that connects the takeaway area of the snack bar to the indoor sitting area is made from a non-toxic material called Barrisol organic PVC. The terrazzo tiles used on the floors and walls adds a vintage vibe to the space.
