Meet The Saudi Interior Architect Who Has Designed The New Bagatelle In Jeddah

Saudi interior architect, Eng Aseel Al Hamad, who is the founder of IDegree Design, is the creative force behind the new Bagatelle pop-up in Jeddah, which is a part of the coveted French luxury brand of restaurants and beach clubs around the world.

Awash in a muted color palette with nods to the brand’s coastal design language, the restaurant is located at the luxurious Indigo Beach Resort in Obhur, a sea bay located about 30 kilometers north of Jeddah City. Bringing the generous flavors of the French Riviera to the Kingdom, the restaurant boasts understated elegance and calming interiors paired with great music.

Aseel founded IDegree in 2009 as a one-stop integrated interior design agency based in Riyah, with a focus on high-end commercial and residential projects. With over 10 years of experience in interior design and around 40 projects to her credit, her services encompass everything, from design conception to development.

She also works closely with international manufacturing brands to bring her clientele the most palatable furniture, artworks and decoratives for interiors that are seamless and sophisticated.
