Leading Swedish brand Hästens, which has been crafting beds since 1852, has launched a Sleep Spa in the Portuguese city of Coimbra, as a space that combines luxury and tranquility.

With well-rounded offerings that place quality sleep at the core of leading a healthy lifestyle, the spa features 15 unique rooms that offer guests the chance to spend the night on the comfiest beds with a customized pillow selection.

The Sleep Spa is attuned to the brand’s identity, and pairs cultural heritage with modern elegance through a remarkable multisensorial experience that prioritizes both physical and mental wellbeing. In addition to experiencing  Hästens’ exclusive beds and the unique environment in which they’re presented, guests have the opportunity to learn and understand how sleep contributes to their wellbeing. “Imagine walking into a dream where you’re educated about sleep and the power of rest,” the website states.

Each bed is handmade and uses premium sustainable natural materials and techniques, which have been handed down through six generations. Hästens announced its launch in the Middle East earlier this year with the opening of its flagship store in Dubai.
