McQueen is returning to London Fashion Week with its Spring Summer 2027 runway show, set to take place on Sunday 20th September, marking an important moment for the British fashion house and a symbolic return to the city where its story began.

The show will mark Seán McGirr’s first London presentation as Creative Director and will continue exploring McQueen’s signature design language through sharp tailoring and distinctive occasionwear, spanning both womenswear and menswear collections.
Reflecting on the return, Seán McGirr described London as central to the spirit of McQueen, highlighting the city’s distinctive energy and enduring influence on the house’s creative identity. Returning to London Fashion Week, he noted, creates an opportunity to reconnect with the creative community that continues to shape both the city and the house itself.

For Gianfranco D’Attis, CEO of McQueen, the move represents more than a runway show. He described the return as a meaningful moment that reaffirms the house’s connection to London, its support of the British Fashion Council, and its commitment to building on McQueen’s heritage while shaping its future.
The announcement has also been welcomed by the British Fashion Council, with CEO Laura Weir calling McQueen’s return a significant moment for British creativity. She noted that few fashion houses have influenced the global industry with the same cultural impact and described the move as a powerful statement of confidence in London’s creative landscape.

Founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in London in 1992, the house has long been recognised for celebrating individuality through a distinctive balance of tradition and innovation. Returning to London Fashion Week marks both a celebration of that legacy and the beginning of a new chapter for McQueen under Seán McGirr’s direction.
