American designer Virgin Abloh revealed his newly designed water bottle for Evian.

The bottle is made from 100% recycled materials, also known as rPET, recycled plastic and is part of Evian’s plans to raise sustainable awareness.

Besides being an artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection, Abloh was also appointed Evian’s creative advisor for sustainable innovation design in 2018.

In his Instagram post on January 6, Abloh mentioned that this bottle is part of Evian’s plans to become a circular brand within the next five years.

The progressive designer added in his post that the newly designed product features “a crushed hammered design effect which represents the previous life of each bottle.”

This is not the first time Abloh and Evian collaborated on a bottle design.

In 2020, the “Evian x Virgil Abloh x Soma” collection was released featuring two refillable glass bottles as part of the brand’s sustainable initiative.
