Cannes’ Marché Du Film And Chopard Are Set To Roll Out The Digital Red Carpet Tomorrow

Festival de Cannes has taken its world-renowned festival online in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The online event will take place from Monday, 22 June to Friday, 26 June.

Among its highlights is Chopard’s online charity gala, which will offer a unique, multisensorial experience to its guests at home, from offering them tips to create the perfect quarantine party to recipes for hors d’oeuvres fit for Cannes. Also on offer is how to recreate the festival’s ‘cozy glamour’ dress code, and an exclusive pre-party playlist.

The idea is to uphold the festivities and grandeur of a traditional Cannes’ red carpet. Industry professionals can acquire passes to the Marché du Film Online at a price of €195. The gala will also include pavilions for institutes, online screenings and programs and conferences where films from all over the world will be shown.

Although this is the first time that the traditional Festival de Cannes has been cancelled since the Second World War in 1945, the Marché du Film  is sure to live up to its festive spirit. We can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
