14 select musicians from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, along with acclaimed Italian violinist Anna Tifu, presented the romantic composition of Antonio Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons in the backdrop of Fendi’s headquarters, the charming Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana.

Soloist Tifu was dressed in three gorgeous Fendi couture creations, each more marvelous than the last throughout the three movements of Vivaldi’s world-renowned concerto. Vivaldi is considered one of the greatest Italian Baroque composers of all time with his Four Seasons concerto among his most famous. Even today, nearly 300 years later after it was reportedly composed in 1723, this timeless classic remains loved the world over.

The ensemble began their performance at dawn whilst following social distancing rules and later united at sunset on the rooftop of the Square Colosseum for the final movement in the piece.  The event was a celebration of the summer solstice and creativity that goes beyond boundaries, while honoring the Academia’s first concert since the pandemic began.
