Queen Rania Shares Happy Family update: Princess Iman Is Expecting Her Second Child

There’s another royal baby on the way. Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, are expecting their second child together, and the thrilled Queen Rania couldn’t be happier

Her Majesty Queen Rania took to Instagram to share the family’s latest happy news. Just as she did when revealing the couple’s first pregnancy, she posted a heartfelt family portrait of Princess Iman bint Abdullah II, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, and their one-year-old daughter, Amina, with Princess Iman’s baby bump on full display.

“The grandchildren club is growing, and we couldn’t be happier for Iman, Jameel, and soon-to-be big sister Amina!” the Queen captioned the announcement photo, expressing her delight as she prepares to welcome her third grandchild.

Although Princess Iman’s due date has not been publicly announced, Queen Rania has a history of sharing her daughter’s pregnancy news shortly before the baby’s arrival. The Queen announced Princess Iman’s first pregnancy in January 2025, and just weeks later, on February 16, Princess Iman and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis welcomed their daughter, Amina. It appears Queen Rania prefers to announce her daughters’ pregnancies only during the final stages of pregnancy.

The couple wed in March 2023 at Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman, following their engagement in 2022. The bride looked simply stunning in a Dior gown, complemented by a Chaumet tiara with an Arabic inscription, “Imani Billah”, which was gifted to her by her parents.
