Loewe Celebrates Japanese Animated Character Totoro In Limited-Edition Collection

Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe recently announced that they are releasing a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s Totoro.

Miyazaki is a Japanese animator, manga artist, and director and the animated character Totoro first appeared in his movie “My Neighbour Totoro,” released in 1988.

The fictional figure quickly became a success and is now considered to be Studio Ghibli’s symbol, an animation film studio located in Tokyo, Japan.

Totoro is often referred to as the “master of the forest” and is seen as a friendly and kind character.

The character adds a fun and colourful twist to Loewe’s signature looks. The collection will feature a series of bags, ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, and hoodies.

Other animated characters include Chu Totoro, a blue medium-sized Totoro, and a tiny Chibi Totoro. The collection is set to be released on January 8.
