Dubai-Based Designer Dima Ayad Collaborates With Malone Souliers For A Dazzling Shoe Collection

Dubai-based Lebanese designer Dima Ayad continues to gain ground in the region by rolling out an exclusive collaboration with luxury shoe label Malone Souliers. The capsule collection, inspired by Dima’s ‘Faith’ fashion line that launches in Ramadan, is exclusively available at Level Shoes. The range of styles reflects on Malone Souliers’ distinct design language and Dima’s interpretation of how it can complement the festivities of the month.

Bold and bright colours have been paired with minimalist and functional designs, which are hallmarks of both the brands. Malone Souliers’ classic mule shoe has a clear influence on the collection, which has been accentuated by luxurious materials like mirrored leather, mesh, linen and satin, and colourways such as emerald green, nude, gold, black, and rainbow metallic. The resulting capsule features a fresh take on signature Malone Souliers shapes, such as the Norah mules and flat mules, and Maureen, Frankie and Perla mules.

Dima established her eponymous fashion label in 2010. The inspiration to start her own clothing line was sparked by a trip to Greece, where she lost her baggage and missed her friend’s wedding as she couldn’t find appropriate dress sizes and styles in the area. She then decided to create her own brand that offers timeless and inclusive pieces, from kaftans and dresses, to kimonos and jackets.

She also appreciates the comfort of the perfect fit, whether in shoe or dress form, especially for social gatherings in Ramadan and on Eid. Mary Alice Malone, founder and Creative Director of Malone Souliers, shared how there’s a seamless connection between the aesthetics of both the brands. Dima described the collaboration as a dream come true—the perfect gift for Ramadan, or any time of the year.

The Malone Souliers x Dima Ayad capsule collection is exclusively available at Level Shoes.
