Dior Celebrates Iconic “Toile De Jouy” Motif With Limited-Edition Perfumes

French fashion house Christian Dior released an exclusive perfume collection to celebrate its signature “Toile de Jouy” motif with a modern twist.

Three of Dior’s popular perfumes: “Gris Dior,” “Lucky,” and “Oud Ispahan,” received a unique makeover.

The bottles’ packaging was colourfully reinvented to highlight the “Toile de Jouy” design. Alongside perfumes, candles and hand soaps, are also part of the collection.

The iconic motif was created in Jouy-en-Josas, a commune in north-central France, and was initially used to cover the walls, counters, and furniture in the designer’s first ever fashion boutique in 1947.

Over the years, “Toile de Jouy” quickly became the brand’s signature look and was used in various designs, including their famous book tote bags.
