Chloé Welcomes Chemena Kamali as Creative Director

Chloé has announced the return of Chemena Kamali as its Creative Director. Born in Germany in 1981, Chemena’s journey to this prestigious role includes a master’s degree from Central Saint Martin’s University of the Arts in London and significant tenure with Chloé, where she initially worked under Phoebe Philo and later served as Design Director to Clare Waight Keller. Her recent stint was as the Women’s Ready to Wear Design Director for Saint Laurent.

Chemena’s appointment marks a meaningful return for her and the Maison, given her deep connection to Chloé’s legacy. Riccardo Bellini, Chloé’s President & CEO, expressed his pride in welcoming her, emphasizing her extraordinary talent and unique connection to the brand.

Chemena said, “My heart has always been Chloé’s,” underscoring her personal affinity for the brand. Philippe Fortunato, CEO of Fashion and Accessories division at Richemont, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing Kamali’s passion for Chloé’s heritage.

Fashion enthusiasts can look forward to Chemena’s debut collections for Chloé, with her first pre-collection set for January 2024 and the Fall-Winter 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week in February 2024. As Kamali takes the creative reins, Chloé anticipates a new era of innovation and style.
