We’re getting hisssterical. Bvlgari has collaborated with Tokyo-based designer Yoon Ahn’s Japanese label Ambush to roll out a limited-edition collection of bags and accessories. Named ‘Serpenti Through The Eyes Of Ambush’, the pieces offer an edgy take on Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti motif.
The collection features three bags, a heart-shaped coin case, three credit card holders embossed with BVLGARI AMBUSH lettering, and a Serpenti bracelet made using Nappa leather. The bags in the collection hero the line, ranging from an interpretation of the timeless Serpenti Forever bag to the Serpenti Minaudière.
The collection features bold colors and soft shapes, which mirror the curves of a snake. “For this capsule collection, I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti. Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature, but with Bvlgari, they also became a symbol of glamor in constant evolution,” Yoon Ahn said in a statement. The snake head, embellished with mother-of-pearl and black onyx eyes, is inspired by the Tree Python of Southeast Asia.
The campaign features models Xiao Wen Ju and Ellen Rosa along with Bella Hadid, and is styled by Carlos Nazario and shot by Tyler Mitchell.
