Trends may come and go, but the bucket bag has stood the test of time. It was first seen back in 1932 when many women admired the style because of how spacious it was. We’re firm believers that creativity is an ongoing process. We introduced a new detail for our ‘Igor’ handbag, making it easy to wear with its detachable strap. Traditionally, straps are hooked onto metal buckles that are then attached to the bag. In keeping with our promise of ensuring seamless design, we recreated this mechanism with a new type of hardware that can be pulled out, allowing it to easily clasp onto the buckles. This detail means you can attach the strap easily, while ensuring that the leather doesn’t get damaged.
We’ve witnessed various bag sizes over the past two years, from maxi to midi to mini bags. Many people may feel that mini bags are impractical, but we believe that practicality is driven by functionality. So, we launched our mini series for a few styles this year, with ‘Igor’ being one of our bestsellers. It’s a bag that women always come back for because of its individualistic style. We’ve also launched new textures, skins and vibrant colors in the mini ‘Igor’ series, with something for everyone.
Flexibility has been one of the top trends that we’ve incorporated into our collection of bags. For Fall-Winter 2020, we introduced the ‘Mira’ bag, which has been highly appreciated by women for its style and because it can be carried multiple ways. First, it comes in two sizes and has a spacious interior, and second, it can be worn using its top handle, crossed top handle, or by strapping it across the shoulder, or as a crossbody.
Appreciated by women of all ages, the box-shaped ‘Nikita’ bag was initially launched with a magnetic gold clasp for a secure lock. Having tested several versions to ensure perfection, the bag was ultimately created with a magnetic snap for invisible closure, which offers a lesson in luxury mechanism. Worn with its top handle for a dressy outfit, or as a crossbody with casual-wear, this collection embodies elegance and practicality.
