Farfetch Launches A Fashion Footprint Tool As Part Of Its Sustainability Initiative

Farfetch has launched a Fashion Footprint Tool that helps you determine how you can save the planet with your fashion choices. The luxury multibrand retail platfrom has joined forces with Good on You, a sustainable fashion rating platform, to uphold the four Cs of a Positively Conscious wardrobe: cleaner, conscious, circular and changing.

The fashion meter allows you to calculate the amount of carbon and water used for a piece of clothing. Here’s a tip from Farfetch: When you choose to buy something new, consider the environmental impact of your purchase by looking for long-lasting, lower-impact materials like linen.

Along with the Fashion Footprint Tool, the brand has also incorporated these green ideas into their vision by adopting 100% recyclable packaging. It’s also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council certified, with the paper and cards they use sourced from sustainably-managed forests.

In addition to housing beloved brands like Stella McCartney and Burberry, the initiative also showcases a collection of vintage designer handbags, as a part of Farfetch Second Life. We believe these small steps can make a big difference. Are you on board?
