Emirati-Owned Nasab Is Offering Complimentary Office Space To Homegrown Businesses

Dubai-based members-only workspace and social club Nasab is giving back with its Nasab Recovery Program, which aims at supporting the local community, as COVID-19 continues to impact businesses across the nation.

As part of the initiative, Nasab will offer complimentary offices and workspaces for 6 months to 30 businesses that are adversely impacted by the pandemic. With the aim of facilitating homegrown, independent, freelance and small enterprises, the program will provide them with the tools to reconnect with like-minded creatives and the financial space to thrive in the post-COVID-19 environment.

The offer is reserved for UAE citizens and residents, and companies that started their businesses before 2019, have a workforce of between one and 16 employees, and whose founders are over the age of 21. “Our main aim throughout the development of Nasab has been to provide a space where creatives, entrepreneurs and like-minded individuals have a place to set up homes-away-from-home,” said Mohammed bin Zaal, the founder and CEO of KOA, the developer behind Nasab.

“We want to keep this spirit alive through the Nasab Recovery Program – continuing our legacy for creating first of their kind initiatives in the UAE. Our hope is that the Program provides a much-needed space for those who shape and contribute to the creative industry – entrepreneurs, leaders in tech, art, design and fashion. The team have worked extraordinarily hard to create an incredible space; we can’t wait to now see the community grow within it.”

Mohammed added that the team has spent the last few weeks liaising with their members on a one-on-one basis. “We believe that businesses who take care of their customers will survive this most difficult of times. We know that what’s in our control is how we extend practical compassion, warmth and support to the wider entrepreneurial community.”
