Actress Yara Shahidi has been announced as the brand ambassador for Jean Paul Gaultier’s upcoming fragrance, Gaultier Divine. Best known for her roles in Black-ish and Grown-ish, Shahidi will front the new Eau de Parfum crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch.
The Gaultier Divine perfume, owned by Puig, boasts a captivating floral marine scent and is set to hit the market in August 2023. This collaboration follows Yara’s appearance at the 2023 Met Gala in May, where she donned an exquisite Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture gown.
Notably, last year, Shahidi teamed up with Natalie Portman to lead Dior’s Rouge Dior Forever lipstick campaign. Directed by Belgian filmmaker Arnaud Uyttenhove, the ad featured Portman and Shahidi strolling through a desert, donning flowing red dresses while showcasing the newly launched product.
Her illustrious film career began at the age of six, starring in TV commercials and print advertisements for renowned brands like Ralph Lauren. In 2009, she made her big-screen debut alongside Eddie Murphy in the film Imagine That.
