Just in time for summer, Van Cleef & Arpels is adding to its nature-inspired jewellery collection. Fleurs d’Hawaï is the Maison’s brand-new High Jewellery collection, and it’s perfect for the season.
Drawing influence from flowers, the collection boasts a colour palette that spans the rainbow. To accomplish this, the talented artisans hand-selected gemstones like citrine, aquamarine, amethyst, rhodolite and peridot.
As the name of the collection suggests, each piece in Fleurs d’Hawaï, including earrings and secret watches, has been designed to look like a flower from Hawaii.
To achieve a natural look, the gold mounts, fashioned using the very old lost-wax casting technique, have been carefully openworked to allow light to filter through, so that they appear like petals undulating in the breeze. While diamond pistils are gracefully positioned at the heart of each piece, surrounded by golden beads and sinuous leaves that add volume and asymmetry, which are the hallmarks of the Maison’s obsession with nature.
Highlighting Van Cleef & Arpels’ passion for transformation, the flower secret watches bloom with twelve pear-cut gemstones and a discreet mother-of-pearl dial. The watches are versatile. In citrine, aquamarine, and rhodolite variations, they can be worn as a bracelet, clip or pendant.
With Fleurs d’Hawaï, the Maison continues its century-long tradition of interpreting flowers through precious metals and dazzling stones. The collection stands as a radiant celebration of nature’s beauty and joyful colour, forever blooming on the skin.
