Harking back to the glitz and glamour of the 1920s, Cartier has just unveiled its latest collection of jewellery bags.

The limited-edition capsule comprises four bags that emulate the design of vanity cases. Adorned with colourful stones, the bags are shaped in either a cylinder, sphere or cushion. The claps are set with obsidian, cabochons of onyx or hessonite garnet, while inside the bag is lined with a suede calfskin interior.

Inspired by the opulence of the Roaring Twenties, the bags make a statement with materials including satin, crochet and mesh. They can be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder for a bold evening statement.
