All eyes are on UAE designers as Tashkeel is hosting a showcase exclusively dedicated to local talent at the INDEX Exhibition, one of the region’s most prominent interior design events that starts today. Titled ‘The Design Experience’, the exhibit will display Tashkeel’s Tanween Collection as a part of Middle East Design and Hospitality Week.
“Tashkeel is delighted to partner with INDEX this year through its Tanween Collection, which is inspired by, designed and manufactured in the UAE,” the organization’s Deputy Director, Lisa Ball Lechgar, said in a statement. “Tashkeel is delighted to showcase a broad selection of furniture and lighting pieces by emerging UAE based designers at this prestigious industry event.”
Among the highlights? Lujain Abul Faraj’s whimsical children’s seating design ‘Dhadh’, Emirati Alya Al Aghfeli’s sculptural ‘Host Lamp’, Hamza Omari’s futuristic ‘Table Lamp’, braided ottoman and chair by Latifa Saeed, and ‘Fattoum’ floor lamp and ‘Hizz’ rocking chair by Studio MUJU that are nothing short of works of art.
