6 Luxe Hotels To Stay At During Paris Fashion Week

1. The San Regis Hotel

The San Regis  is centrally located, in close proximity with fashion-week locations, which is why it makes it to our list of hotels you should consider. Located in the heart of the ‘Golden Triangle’, in Paris’ 8th Arrondissement, the hotel has seen the likes of Jacqueline Bisset, Lauren Bacall, and Candice Bergen. It’s one of Paris’ preferred places of residence for VIPs, celebrities and artists. Right off the Champs-Elysées, it’s also steeped in history. Built in the 19th century and later restored, the hotel’s discreet address on Rue Jean Goujon is owned by the Lebanese Georges family. In its 30 bedrooms and 12 suites, four of which are terrace junior suites with private balconies and Eiffel Tower views, exquisite fabrics abound. You can grab a pre-fashion-show bite at the hotel’s restaurant Les Confidences, headed by Chef Romain Leydier, with its seasonal menu and grand glass roof that give the feel of a winter garden. For your Paris Fashion Week needs, the hotel can arrange for childcare, hairdressers, make-up, and mani-pedis.

2. The Peninsula Hotel Paris

Attractively situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, the Peninsula Paris is a stone’s throw from the Arc du Triompe, shopping destinations, and all the happenings at Paris Fashion Week. Combining luxury, modern design, and light hues, the 16th Arrondissement hotel is a breath of fresh air. With 200 luxurious rooms, 45 of which are suites, the hotel epitomizes Parisian perfection. Dine at one of the six restaurants, Le Lobby, LiLi Cantonese Restaurant, La Terrasse Kléber, Le Bar Kléber, Le Lounge Kléber and L’Oiseau Blanc, all through fashion week.

On 26 September, the Peninsula Hotel will launch an art exhibit, called Art in Resonance, a global contemporary art program launched in Hong Kong earlier this year. Don’t miss the three pieces by artists Saya Woolfalk, Elise Morin, and Iván Navarro that will be on view at the hotel.

3. Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel

Steps away from the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, Avenue Montaigne, and Avenue George V- the Triangle d’or, the Hôtel de Berri is located near Paris’ luxury fashion boutiques, and you won’t be far from the Paris Fashion Week shows either. The hotel is one of Marriot’s Luxury Collection addresses, located in Elsa Schiaparelli, an avant-garde fashion designer’s former residence. Giving a nod to decorative art, the hotel features a decadent private collection for you to peruse. The concierge is available to help connect guests with the City of Lights at all times. With 40 rooms and 35 suites, the hotel offers a host of services, from laundry to limousine, babysitting to room service.

In a sea of green seats, the hotel’s restaurant, Le Schiap, offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine by head Chef Jimmy de Almeida, and the Le Bizazz Bar offers some of the most colorful beverages that you can sip on between the fashion showcases and previews.

5. W Paris – Opéra

Located in the center of Paris, the W Paris Opéra hotel is a mix of New York high life and the French capital’s quintessential elegance. This five-star award-winning boutique hotel is avant-garde in design, sitting inside a Haussmann era building. Because the hotel is so central, it allows easy access to stores such as Galeries Lafayette, or the Louvre Museum. Central to all the Paris Fashion Week shows, there’s an opportunity to enjoy fashion and see all that the City of Lights has to offer. Out of 91 rooms, 49 offer stunning views of the Opéra Garnier. And the Whatever/Whenever ‘concierge’ service can get you what you need, when you need it, from dinner cruises on the Seine, to arranged picnics in Luxembourg Gardens, to same-day dry cleaning services.
