Azza Fahmy Jewellery has introduced its latest collection, Soraya, a celebration of the enduring symbolism of the crescent moon and stars, reimagined through the house’s signature storytelling, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.

Inspired by celestial motifs that have appeared across Ottoman architecture, textiles, jewellery, and decorative arts for centuries, the collection blends historic symbolism with contemporary design. At its heart is one of Azza Fahmy’s most distinctive signatures—the chain. Reinterpreted through the brand’s intricate mesh-like chain technique, it creates fluid, textile-inspired silhouettes that bring movement, softness, and structure to every piece.

Among the collection’s highlights is the Celestial Scarf Necklace, crafted with cascading chains adorned with crescent and star motifs and engraved with the lyric “My days become sweeter with you” from the beloved Warda song. Designed to be worn in multiple ways, the handcrafted piece takes approximately 82 hours to create. Other standout designs include the Cascading Crescent & Star Earrings, the Celestial Beaded Choker inspired by Victorian jewellery, the Celestial Kirdan Necklace, which pays tribute to traditional Egyptian adornments, and the Constellation Chain Bracelet, where star motifs are woven into the Maison’s iconic chainwork.

The collection also features an array of rings, bangles, pendants, and earrings that reinterpret historic celestial symbols through modern silhouettes while preserving the craftsmanship and storytelling that define the house.

Brought to life through a campaign set in Alexandria, Soraya draws inspiration from the city’s rich cultural history, timeless architecture, and enduring sense of nostalgia. Reflecting the dialogue between heritage and modernity, the collection transforms ancient celestial motifs into contemporary fine jewellery designed for today’s wearer.
