de GRISOGONO has launched the first phase of its Creativity in Residence program, announcing award-winning jewelry designer Emmanuel Tarpin as the Genevan brand’s first artist in residence. At just 27, Emmanuel has earned his spurs and emerged as a celebrity-favorite (read: Rihanna).
As the first part of this year-long program, de GRISOGONO has unveiled a six-piece capsule collection of exquisite Haute Couture black-and-white diamond jewels. Called ‘Prologue’, the collection reflects Emmanuel’s love of nature, which has been a recurrent theme in his creations. He artfully uses aluminium for the intricate designs, each of which is akin to wearable art. The program runs alongside a scholarship initiative for designers with the Geneva School of Art and Design. We can’t wait to see the next phase of the program and how de GRISOGONO will continue to foster creativity.
