Tod’s and Huda Al Nuaimi collaborated to release a candle for Eid

Italian luxury brand Tod’s and Emirati print designer Huda Al Nuaim have collaborated to release a special candle for Eid. Bridging the gap between the East and the West, this partnership celebrates the essence of Ramadan, while honouring both Tod’s heritage and Huda’s talent.

Huda designed a print that drew inspiration from a classic Italian garden, adorned with motifs from the Renaissance period. The infusion of architectural elements resonates with Tod’s commitment to polished tailoring and structured aesthetics, while the inclusion of floral accents embodies Huda’s feminine sensibility, characterised by subtle lines and intricate detailing.

Rendered in a mesmerising bronze-black hue, this print adorns a three-wick candle, symbolising unity and celebration.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both Tod’s and Huda Al Nuaimi, whose shared commitment to minimalistic aesthetics and modern elegance underpins their partnership.

Having previously collaborated with regional brands, Huda first expanded into the global arena by partnering with the Swiss jewellery brand Piaget last Ramadan. Together, they crafted a collection of Arabic coffee cups, marking a significant step in her global collaborations.

Driven by her passion for art and expression, Huda also seeks partnerships with various international artists to explore diverse perspectives and styles. Recently, she worked with the globally acclaimed Italian artist, Gio Bressana, to produce a series of 15 distinctive collector’s pieces.

Additionally, as the founder of Nuaimi Collective, she has curated a portfolio of sophisticated clothing collections, blending traditional silhouettes with a contemporary edge. Perfect for the modern Arab woman seeking to express her individuality, Huda’s creations embody a fusion of heritage and innovation.
