Celine showcased its Winter 2024 women’s collection in the film La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe, highlighting the modern reinterpretation of the iconic Triomphe symbol. Hedi Slimane’s cinematic film also debuted the brand’s entry into the world of cosmetics with the launch of Celine Beauté.
Rooted in the essence of French heritage, the brand new beauty collection celebrates the femininity and sophistication, which is found in House’s couture creations.
A soon-to-be staple in every beauty ritual, the velvety satin-finish Rouge Triomphe arrives this autumn, encased in a charming gold sheath adorned with the Maison’s iconic monogram. An ensemble of 15 satin-finish shades, including the iconic La Peau Nue will be released in 2025.
Each season will unveil fresh beauty releases envisioned by Hedi, encompassing lip balm, mascara, eyeliner, complexion-perfecting loose powder, blush and nail polish.
Meanwhile, the La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe fashion collection marked a departure from Hedi’s grunge aesthetic. It instead drew inspiration from the 1960s, a pivotal era for Celine, still incapsulating the youthful spirit of the House, there were matching co-ords and reimagined fabrics. Hand-embroidered couture pieces were presented alongside the ready-to-wear collection in which felt hats offer a contemporary twist on the classic Celine baseball cap of the ’60s.
Central to the collection is the revamped historical Triomphe emblem, conceptualised by Hedi in 2018, paying homage to the original vision of Celine Vipiana from 1971.
