Piaget just unveiled its Shapes of Extraleganza high jewellery collection in Barcelona

Piaget has just revealed the latest chapter in its high jewellery trilogy, Shapes of Extraleganza. The bold collection pays homage to the Swiss Maison’s creative golden age of the 1960s and 70s. A creative leap from last year’s Essence of Extraleganza, the new pieces celebrate Piaget’s heritage and nod to its famed avant-garde artistry.

The collection was debuted at an exclusive gala dinner in Barcelona’s Seminari Conciliar. Global Ambassadors of the house, Gianna Jun, Lee Jun-ho, Apo Nattawin, and Friends of the Maison, Ella Richards and Amber Valletta, were all in attendance, each wearing Piaget’s latest creations.

Valletta sparked attention in a Swinging Sautoir featuring carnelian, rubies, opals and pink spinels, paired with an exquisite Pink Delight Ring with rubellite and spessartite stones. Meanwhile, Jun wore the Wave Illusion set, rose gold and platinum with vibrant spinels, rubies and diamonds.

To complement the gala dinner, Piaget also hosted a Play of Shapes exhibition at Casa Corbero (an architectural marvel by Catalan sculptor Xavier Corbero).

Founded back in 1874, Piaget is known for blending technical mastery with aesthetic innovation, upholding Georges-Edouard Piaget’s legacy. With the Shapes of Extraleganza collection, the Maison reaffirms its position at the intersection of time, art and elegance.
