As the excitement for the FIFA World Cup 2026 final builds, Louis Vuitton has once again stepped up to the pitch, reviving its role as the Official Supplier and Branded Licensee of the world’s biggest tournament. At the centre of this collaboration is the newly unveiled, bespoke Trophy Trunk, designed to house the most coveted prize in football.

This extraordinary trunk was brought to life in the historic workshops of Asnières-sur-Seine, Paris. Here, master artisans dedicated generations of expertise into a casket worthy of sporting royalty. Wrapped in the timeless Monogram canvas, the exterior is instantly recognizable, yet unique, adorned with a striking, hand-painted golden “V” on the front panels. This design serves as a poetic nod to both “Victory” and “Vuitton,” reflecting the brilliant golden hues of the trophy nestled inside.

Every detail of the trunk whispers heritage. The outer edges are bound with the Maison’s signature “lozines” leather trim, while the gold-plated brass corner protectors, clasps, and central lock reflect hardware designs the House has perfected since the 1860s. Inside, the trunk is lined with plush, light beige leather, featuring a custom partnership logo patch seamlessly integrated into the lid. It is a sanctuary of luxury built to protect a symbol of ultimate triumph.
According to Louis Vuitton’s CEO and Chairman, Pietro Beccari, the partnership is bound by a shared belief in the power of sport to unite people, calling the trophy a symbol of collective ambition and dedication. FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, Romy Gai, echoed the same sentiment, noting that the trunk brings an unmatched blend of prestige to the tournament, connecting historical tradition with the peak of modern football.

The trunk is set to make its grand debut on the pitch during the highly anticipated final match. Escorted onto the field by a FIFA legend and Louis Vuitton ambassadors, the presentation continues a beloved and iconic tradition that first began in 2010.
For fans of the game and the maison alike, Louis Vuitton has also unveiled a limited-edition consumer capsule inspired by the design. The collection includes the Coffret 8 Montres, the Cotteville 16 Montres, and the magnificent Malle Courrier Lozine 110. Each piece features the hand-painted trophy and the golden “V,” and can be personalized with the owner’s initials, proving that victory, indeed, travels best in Louis Vuitton.
