New York Fashion Week Is Going Digital This September

New York Fashion Week has announced that it will be opting for a fully digital platform for the Spring 2021 season.  In response to the ongoing global pandemic, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has introduced their digital initiative- RUNWAY360, allowing designers to flexibly showcase their collections online in a variety of formats whilst engaging with domestic and international press, consumers and retailers.

This means the otherwise week-long event will be reduced to 30-minute virtual showcases by each brand during which they can interact with their audiences. The fashion week will run from September 13-16, and feature 60 shows in total. Tom Ford, Jason Wu, Carolina Herrera and Eckhaus Latta are a few among the notable names who will be making an appearance this year. The full schedule of shows is now available on Fashion Week Online.
