For the first time in its history, Saudi Film Festival will be taking place as an online event. The sixth edition of the festival will run from 1-6 September. Organized by the Culture and Arts Association in Dammam, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and supported by the Film Commission of the Ministry of Culture, the event offers a platform for Saudi filmmakers even during the pandemic.

The event will also include film screenings, seminars and talks with filmmakers along with workshops with Lebanese film director Michel Kammoun and music trainer Ghia Al Rashidat. Apart from YouTube, the event will be streamed on Ithra’s social platforms.
