After five months of celebrating the arrival of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s first granddaughter, joy continues to abound within the Jordanian Royal Family as they prepare to welcome another delightful addition.

Renowned for her warmth and dedication to connecting with the people of Jordan and royal enthusiasts worldwide through social media, Her Majesty Queen Rania shared the joyful news today: her daughter Her Royal Highness Princess Iman is expecting her first child with her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis

Taking to social media, the Queen posted a touching image of Princess Iman showing her baby Bump and shared the caption in Arabic: “Two is a couple, three is a blessing”

HRH Princess Iman has been splitting her time between Jordan and the United States since her marriage to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. Known for maintaining a low profile, the Princess is only seen at major royal family events. Her last public appearance was in June 2024, during her father King Abdullah II’s Silver Jubilee celebrations. She was seen again in August 2024, warmly welcoming her namesake niece, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein.

Speculation about Princess Iman’s pregnancy first emerged in June 2024, when she and her husband, Jameel, attended the King’s Silver Jubilee celebrations. At the time, a slight baby bump was visible, sparking widespread rumors, which were later confirmed by Queen Rania’s Exciting announcement.

Jordan’s Princess Iman bint Abdullah II wed Jameel Alexander Thermiotis at Beit Al-Urdon Palace in a lavish ceremony on March 12, 2023, where she was donned in a stunning Dior gown.

Princess Iman was gracefully escorted into the ceremony by her elder brother, Crown Prince Hussein, followed by two flower girls, the daughters of her cousin HRH Princess Ayah Bint Faisal

The wedding was held at Their Majesties’ private residence, with over 150 guests in attendance. The ceremony was broadcast live on Jordan TV, the nation’s official television service, allowing viewers across the country to share in the joyous occasion.

“Iman, I pray this next chapter in your life brings you as much joy, love, and laughter as you have brought us over the years. Congratulations to the bride and groom!” Queen Rania shared on Instagram.
