With the Paris Olympics 2024 kicking off, many are set to journey to the French capital to experience the atmosphere of the games.

About the Paris Olympics 2024

The opening ceremony will take place on July 26 at the city centre overlooking the river Seine, and athletes will compete across 32 sporting events until August 11. Sport climbing, skateboarding, surfing, and the newest addition breakdancing are some of the new competitions that will be presented at this year’s Paris Olympics.

Moreover, 184 countries will be participating with four athletes representing the UAE, five from Saudi Arabia, ten from Qatar, and more from all over the GCC. The competitions and events will take place in 35 different venues across Paris, and neighbouring cities including Versailles, Nanterre, and Nice. 

Although most tickets are sold out by this point, the official Olympics website still offers tickets for several sessions.
