In a vibrant collaboration with Mirage, Istituto Marangoni Dubai takes center stage at Dubai Design Week with its stellar showcase, “Mirage Expansion.” The exhibition promises a jubilant celebration of creative expression, fruitful collaborations, and cutting-edge innovation within the heart of the region’s premier design fair.
The creative talents featured in this exhibit are none other than distinguished alumni from Istituto Marangoni Milano Design, uniting under the banner of the “Prima Project.” Among these accomplished former students is Yuetong Shi, a Chinese visual designer and art director, currently serving as a Tutor and Course Leader in Visual Design at Istituto Marangoni Dubai.
Roberto La Iacona, the Director of Istituto Marangoni Dubai, expressed excitement about the institute’s involvement in Dubai Design Week. He stated, “We are thrilled to engage with the region’s design community at Downtown Design 2023, fostering crucial dialogue and igniting inspiration for the next generation of creative leaders. Our school stands as a true design hub, encouraging young talents to experiment freely and test innovative projects. Through the ‘Mirage Expansion’ showcase, we aim to showcase the influential power of diverse cultural influences and design collaborations.”
Since its inception in the UAE in 2022, Istituto Marangoni Dubai has been dedicated to cultivating future leaders in the fashion and design realm, with a particular emphasis on nurturing emerging Arab women designers. The institute’s participation in Dubai Design Week exemplifies its commitment to pushing the boundaries of design education and fostering a dynamic and inclusive creative community.
