After its wondrous annual firework display on New Years Eve, Burj Khalifa celebrated its 10th anniversary yesterday, as it continues to be known as coveted landmark of the UAE the world over.

“From the earth to the sky. Aspiration and achievement – a shining symbol of what Dubai strives for and what we can accomplish.”, read a board inside  building, commemorating its glory.

Visitors at the Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk witnessed outstanding LED light shows yesterday evening as part of the celebrations. That’s not all, the official Burj Khalifa Twitter and Instagram accounts announced a competition where the winner gets the ultimate Burj Khalifa experience which includes At The Top, Burj Khalifa SKY experiences, a spa retreat at The Burj Club followed by lunch for two at The Rooftop, The Burj Club.

As a superb show of inclusivity at the recent NYE celebration at Burj Khalifa, a group of tourists of determination were given front row seats to watch the pyrotechnics display that people from the world over await each year. 

Attracting over 20 million people since its opening in on 4 January 2010, the 828 meter-high building continues to hold the crown of the most spectacular tourist destination in the country.
