Pura Vida, which translates to “pure life” in English, is a region-grown concept inspired by Costa Rica’s natural landscape and colorful culture. With the goal of reducing its environmental impact, the eco-resort comprises a series of 10 spacious and nature-friendly domes, offering guests a comfortable and cozy space to enjoy the area’s scenic views. Each dome can accommodate up to two guests.
Pura Vida is the perfect staycation for those looking for some quiet and a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It gives visitors the chance to disconnect from their busy lifestyles and become one with nature.
As mentioned on their Pura Vida’s official website, the resort aims at raising environmental awareness and preserving nature. “We maintain a ground with as little environmental footprint as possible in our offerings and venue – a car-free zone, reusing and recycling materials, planting more trees, zero use of motorized activities, and applying sustainable practices across our retreat,” the statement reads.
In true “glamping” fashion, Pura Vida offers a unique gastronomic experience with food and beverage facilities throughout, offering retreat guests a choice between a-la-carte or set menus.
Guests can enjoy a wide array of activities, designed to blend in with the retreat’s surroundings, such as bird watching, kayaking, biking, and sunset yoga, with breathtaking views of the mangroves. The eco-resort is located on Jubail Island, approximately a two-hour drive from Dubai Airport.
