While fashion predictably dominated the Grammys red carpet, the watches were quietly commanding attention of their own. Worn alongside head-to-toe glamour, these timepieces act as subtle power statements and worthy of its own attention.
At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, celebrity watch choices did not disappoint. Enthusiasts such as Skepta, John Legend, Pharrell, and Jamie Foxx arrived wearing heavyweight pieces, even as the trend toward oversized tailoring made spotting wrists a challenge. In some cases watches remained tucked discreetly beneath suit sleeves. Still, we managed to identify the watches that stood out this year.

The 13-time Grammy Award–winning singer, songwriter, and producer John Legend, nominated for Best Gospel Performance/Song, wore a striking diamond-studded Hublot Big Bang Original King Gold Blue in 41mm. The rose gold case was set with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds, adding a refined sparkle to his look. The timepiece is paired with a blue alligator leather strap and finished with a gold-plated buckle.

Bad Bunny made Grammy’s history this year, becoming the first artist to win Album of the Year with a Spanish-language. The moment was paired with a Cartier Tortue in yellow gold, a fitting choice for the singer who took home three gold Grammy awards in a night. The dress watch has become known for its flat design, forming part of the maison’s historic lineup was inspired by Louis Cartier’s 1912 original tortoise-shaped design that broke from round norms.

Jamie Foxx hit the red carpet wearing a showstopping $300,000 timepiece from Jacob & Co.. Known as the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, this limited-edition piece, often referenced as BU200, features a tonneau-shaped case inspired by the Chiron’s aerodynamic lines and houses a fully functional miniature W16 engine automaton. Activated by a pusher, its moving pistons, crankshaft, and spinning turbochargers bring high-performance engineering to life in miniature form.

Nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, British-born rapper Skepta wore a yellow gold Rolex Sky-Dweller to the Grammys. The timepiece featured a champagne-colored dial with Rolex’s signature fixed inverted red triangle indicating reference time, along with dual time zones and the brand’s Saros annual calendar complication.

Shaboozey, who won a Grammy for his duet Amen with Jelly Roll, opted for a retro style watch, pairing his Ralph Lauren look with the newly released Piaget Polo 79. The two-tone timepiece from the Swiss watchmaker combines white and yellow gold, reviving a classic design with a contemporary touch.
