English luxury fashion brand, Vivienne Westwood, recently collaborated with sportswear brand Asics on a sneakers collection titled Gel-Kayano 27 LTX.

The new drop was inspired by Westwood’s 1974 collection, in partnership with artist Malcom McLaren, aiming to challenge traditional perceptions of fashion and push people to express themselves.

This is Westwood’s second collaboration with Asics. The pair previously released the Gel-Kayano 26.

The campaign was directed by choreographer Holly Blakey who wanted to illustrate the agility of the shoes as dancers moved effortlessly in her stunning bright visuals.

“I wanted to capture the playfulness and colour of the high-performance collection, imagine the terrains in which they would operate, exaggerate and find the mischief I see so intrinsic to Westwood’s world with our film,” said Blakey in an Instagram post.

The shoes are available for purchase in three colours: lilac, black and orange.
