Tiffany & Co. introduces the Tiffany Crest home collection, a curated masterpiece by Lauren Santo Domingo, the Artistic Director of the home category. Drawing inspiration from 17th-century family crests on Chinese export porcelain, this collection beautifully encapsulates Tiffany & Co.’s rich heritage and iconic motifs.
At the heart of the Tiffany Crest is Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock, boldly displayed on a shield set against an orange and blue backdrop, reminiscent of New York City’s flag colors. The collection goes beyond aesthetics, incorporating meaningful symbols such as dragonfly designs paying tribute to Tiffany lamps, diamonds symbolizing meticulous craftsmanship, hammers representing artistry, and maple leaves as a nod to New York’s state tree.
Adding historical depth, the Latin phrase “Revertere Ad Tiffany,” translating to “Return to Tiffany,” and the founding year “1837” are seamlessly integrated into the collection. Lauren Santo Domingo, Artistic Director of Tiffany Home, expressed the significance of this creative endeavor: “Designing a coat of arms, so to speak, for Tiffany & Co.—honoring its own unique history—was a special endeavor. Incorporating the maple leaf, silversmithing tools, gemstones, the year of founding, and the motto ‘Return to Tiffany’ in Latin naturally felt well-deserved.”
The Tiffany Crest home collection not only celebrates the brand’s enduring legacy but also serves as a stunning fusion of history and contemporary design, reflecting the timeless elegance that Tiffany & Co. is renowned for.
