Coveted shoe designer Amina Muaddi has partnered with Fenty  to create pieces for the brand’s debut shoe collection.  Named Caged In, the first style in Fenty’s 7-20 shoe release offers a new spin on Muaddi’s signature fairytale footwear.

The new designs that were revealed yesterday are edgy and fabulous, in keeping with Rihanna’s signature style. The Caged In strappy sandals feature metallic heels, inspired by the shape and strength of steel nails.

Amina, who designed the brand’s size-inclusive fairytale footwear for Savage X Fenty’s New York fashion show last year, has developed a cult following for her own signature stilettos that are a modern-day twist to Cinderella’s glass slippers. She’ll be creating shoes for Fenty without it having a correlation with her eponymous brand.
