The 67th Bal de la Rose, held under the Patronage of HRH Prince Albert II and presided over by his sister, HRH Caroline, Princess of Hanover, took place last evening at the elegant Salle des Etoiles of Le Sporting in Monaco.
Steeped in history and tradition, the annual charity gala was established by their mother, Princess Grace, in 1954, and has since been a covetable event that brings global luminaries together to support a good cause.
The event is organised by the Monte-Carlo SBM Group in March every year. The theme of this iteration was ‘Bollywood’, which was designed by Princess Caroline and Christian Louboutin, with proceeds going towards the Princess Grace Foundation with the participation of Stéphane Bern.
For one evening, the Principality bathed in splendour and lights—evoking a sense of enchantment in those attending. The Salle des Etoiles was transformed into a movie studio, where Bollywood dancers led the guests on a journey of singing and dancing, following the story of Beauty, a young Indian woman invited to participate in the Bal de la Rose for the first time.
