Fawaz Gruosi Unveils Glistening New High Jewelry Collection During Paris Couture Week

This week, creative polymath Fawaz Gruosi revealed his latest high jewelry creations at the Ritz Hotel in Paris’ dreamy Place Vendôme. Known for his deeply imaginative aesthetic vocabulary and use of color and gemstones, the designer showcased pieces that offer a mélange of beauty, color and personality.

The collection features earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets, each of which has been crafted to perfection. Among the pièces de résistance are the reptilian ring with a 15.04-carat square-cut Colombian emerald, set on a ruby body, and the Magnificent Emerald Necklace, made with white gold and titanium and set with 768 emeralds and 205 white diamonds.

“I want to create jewellery that’s as emotional for the wearer as it is for the viewer,” Fawaz Gruosi said in a statement. “These last creations have been like a firework display of ideas and love for stones that have moved me. I don’t think I’ve ever created so freely, with so much spontaneity, carried by a form of fearlessness. I hope that customers will sense this when they see the pieces.”

The jewellery master’s creative vision is brought to life in a Geneva-based workshop, where ancestral techniques meet the latest technology for crafting each piece. Think about creations that are akin to works of art, like the eight-row necklace, set with emeralds and 115.55 carats of emerald cabochons, and the cuff with the setting of more than 2,700 diamonds and tsavorites, which evokes the animated keys of an acoustic piano, while titanium paired with pink gold accentuates it. Then, there’s also the bracelet made of deep red waves of Burmese baguette-cut rubies and brilliant-cut rubies.

In 2020, Fawaz Gruosi launched his eponymous brand with a lavish boutique in Berkeley Square, London. “I’ve always encouraged my team to be guided by passion, to work differently. We’ve been together for a long time without ever following a trend. I think that’s what makes us successful.”
