H&M revealed its H&M Studio SS21 collection, “Treasure Forever,” that is inspired by carefree spirits and treasure-seeking explorers.

The H&M Studio concept was developed by an in-house team in Stockholm with limited-edition pieces released biannually.

The new launch was designed with adventure, fantasy and self-expression in mind.

“We wanted to capture the attitude of a confident and self-expressive explorer, so there are lots of bold pieces with under- the-sea references. The fringed skirt feels almost octopus-like, whereas the cropped painted leather jacket is a modern take on a maritime classic,” said Angelica Grimborg, Concept Designer at H&M Studio, in a statement.

Made from sustainably sourced materials, the versatile and playful silhouettes depict a scene straight out of an underwater treasure hunt, with elements inspired by aquatic creatures.

The vibrant colour palette with orange and yellow hues is balanced by classic tones such as white, black, and beige.

The SS21 collection is expected to arrive on H&M’s website and App on February 18.
