The French fashion house is expected to reveal its new 2021/22 Cruise collection in May at the Carrières de Lumières, located in Les Baux-de-Provence, in Southern France.
The beautiful village was used as a backdrop for French poet and playwright, Jean Cocteau’s film “Le Testament d’Orphée,” released in 1960.
Cocteau was also a friend of Gabrielle Chanel, who founded the luxury brand in 1910.
The 20/21 collection featured the brand’s ambassador Lily-Rose Depp and displaying the spirit of the Mediterranean.
Chanel Cruise collection has been part of the brand’s heritage since 1920. It aims to showcase a series of designs inspired by the French Riviera, and other sunny destinations.
